  • Other relevant information you choose to share during contact or therapy.

 

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To provide psychological and therapeutic services (based on your consent and/or performance of a contract).

  • To maintain medical and therapy records as required by the Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO).

  • For administrative and billing purposes (legal obligation).

  • To comply with legal, professional, and ethical obligations applicable to healthcare professionals.

  • To ensure the security and functionality of online services used in therapy.

3. Data Retention

Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned above and in accordance with Dutch law:

  • Therapy and medical records: stored for a minimum of 15 years after the end of treatment, as required by the WGBO.

  • Administrative and financial records: stored for 7 years in accordance with Dutch tax regulations.

After these periods, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

I use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
This includes secure storage, strong passwords, and access limited only to authorised personnel.

All third-party processors comply with the GDPR and act only on my instructions.

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Article 16).

  • Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where legally possible (Article 17).

  • Data portability – request your data in a structured, machine-readable format (Article 20).
